I am exhibiting in a gorgeous and exciting gallery space during the month of August. Come along to Axolotl Gallery if you are in the vicinity of Edinburgh between the 7th – 30th August 2010 to see my upcoming group show called ‘Young Northern British Artists.’ For more information please do visit http://www.axolotl.co.uk/exhibitions.
Axolotl Gallery 35 Dundas Street Edinburgh, open daily 10-6pm Sunday 12-5pm Free ( non ticketed).
Axolotl show preparations have been keeping me busy during the better part of July, but I’ve been really enjoying myself with the paint playing with the textures and layers. I feel extremely motivated and fortunate that I am able to paint nearly everyday (paid work permitting of course). The latest Kwan creation, plucked from the depths of my mind has materialised at last especially for the Axolotl show.
It has been a busy month! As well as Axolotl Gallery preparations, I have been exhibiting in Galashiels. Moondogs Gallery and Coffeeshop opened it’s doors for business at the end of May 2010 and invited me to be their first Scottish artist to exhibit with them until the end of July. The exhibition was well received, the opening night bearing live bands, who knew you could have so much fun on just coffee and cake?
